Bruno Fernandes lifts the lid on furious dressing room argument at Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes lifts the lid on furious dressing room argument at Manchester United

Manchester United is already in the Europa League and, if all goes well in their last few games of the season, will end second in the Premier League.

Despite all of the 'Ole down' talk, the Norwegian has performed amazingly well, and if he's provided the resources to do the job in terms of transfer expenditure over the summer, there's no excuse why he can't progress more.

DON'T MISS:

Bruno Fernandes has been one of his most profitable investments so far. The Portuguese midfielder has become a revelation at Old Trafford and is a major factor in why silverware is always on the table.

However, Bruno has revealed a ferocious row that has splintered the locker room, and it is one that any football fan would undoubtedly have addressed at some stage.

“They [Fred and Telles] are still talking over who is the greatest player in the country, in history, blah blah....,” the player told the Manchester United website.

“We still clash because they claim Pele was the greatest player in football history, and I'm talking about Cristiano, of course.

DON'T MISS:

“To me, Cristiano and [Lionel] Messi all make history for several years and are worthy of staying at the forefront for several years,” he says.

And, like me, they have never seen Pele perform, so they can't claim he was the strongest because they haven't seen him. They tell that because they are Brazilian, and they say it in Brazil.

“I believe Pele is one of the greatest in the world since I hear people talking about him because I've seen some history and some images where everyone can see [Diego] Maradona, Eusebio, and people talking about Pele as being the best of all time.

“We're still debating which was the better between Rivaldo and Figo. Who was the bad offender and who was the best?

As a result, as a Portuguese man, I still protect my players. I protect the Portuguese players every time, whether I like them or not.

“So this is a battle between Brazilians and Portuguese, but it is more of a prank than anything else.”

Fortunately for the Red Devils, the disagreement isn't extreme, as it seems that the participants would simply have to consent to differ on this one
