 Man United's Scott McTominay is the latest player to report for pre-season training.

Manchester United players are gradually returning to action in preparation for the 2021/22 season.

Because the Copa America and the European Championships were taking place at the same time, this pre-season was bound to be unusual. It meant that several United players would have more time off to replenish their batteries ahead of a title push in the following eight months or so.

On Sunday, a youthful side stepped to the pitch against Derby County. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been putting his players through their paces at a pre-season training camp in Surrey, and a few more familiar faces have returned to action since then.

Scott McTominay happened to be one of them. For the first time this pre-season, the 24-year-old United star was spotted working hard in the gym ahead of the Reds' match against QPR this weekend.
