Raphael Varane is finally having his Manchester United physical after what seems like an eternity.
We previously reported on a claim from The Telegraph that Varane was scheduled to undertake the first phase of his medical testing today.
The Manchester Evening News has since corroborated that report. Their sharp-eyed reporters snapped a photo of Varane arriving at Carrington for that medical just moments ago.
The Frenchman had been quarantined for five days due to COVID rules in the United Kingdom. Obviously, that period of isolation is no longer in effect, which means Varane's move to Old Trafford may now be finalized.
Varane is scheduled to sign his contract tomorrow morning before participating in the traditional photo shoot, followed by practicing with his new teammates on Wednesday.

Varane is keen to get out on the practice field and give himself the best opportunity of getting selected for our Premier League opener against Leeds United.
At the moment, though, it appears that Varane will be sent to the bench rather than being named to the starting lineup.
United have until Friday midday to register Varane as a Red Devil in order to use their new signing against our bitter rivals on Saturday at 12:30.
For the player, it is now a matter of getting stuck in during training and attempting to increase fitness levels as soon as feasible. Varane's car being photographed arriving for his physical makes this one very real - and I'm really excited to have him on the books at Old Trafford.
