The official Euro 2020 Twitter account sparked a stir with a question they asked their followers ahead of the game at Wembley.
"Francesco Totti or Wayne Rooney?" they simply tweeted.

Totti scored 307 goals for Roma in 786 games. However, he only won five trophies with the club.
In addition, the Italian superstar earned 58 appearances for his country, scoring nine goals and helping them win the 2006 World Cup.
Rooney had a goal-scoring record that was extremely similar to Totti's.
At club level, the Englishman scored 313 goals in 763 appearances.
He had far greater success than Totti in terms of trophies won, winning 16 with Manchester United.
