According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United is still waiting to hear back from Real Madrid on their price tag for Raphael Varane, and the inclusion of Donny van de Beek in any deal has not been addressed.
In recent weeks, the Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for the France international as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer attempts to bolster his defensive options ahead of next season.

Varane's situation at Real Madrid has been a talking point because his current deal is slated to expire at the end of next season.
It is unclear whether the 28-year-old would sign a new contract at the Bernabeu or will be sold by the Spanish club.
It was claimed that Van de Beek could be used as a makeweight in a hypothetical transfer, but that is not the case, according to Italian journalist Romano.
“Donny Van de Beek has NOT been mentioned between Manchester United and Real Madrid as a player included in the negotiations for Raphael Varane,” Romano said on Twitter on Friday.

Varane, 28, made 31 La Liga games for Real Madrid last season and scored two goals.
