Man United will press to finally sign £50million play breaker – Face competition

If media claims are to be believed, the Red Devils are once again linked with French international and Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Transfer: £45m star willing to join Man Utd if offer is doubled

DON'T MISS:

The Old Trafford club attempted to sign the Les Bleus player (AS) last year, but he ultimately chose to stay with the Ligue 1 side. According to the latest reports, Manchester United will make a final push to capture him this summer.

Man United have formally declared their interest in wooing the 18-year-old midfielder, according to renowned French journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi.

According to Bouhafsi's article for RMC Sport, talks between the 20-time English winners and Camavinga representatives are forthcoming. The midfielder's top priority, however, is to remain in France and join Paris Saint-Germain. Rennes' current contract with the adolescent phenom will end in just 12 months, but it is reported that the club is seeking a massive fee of 100 million euros, or £86 million.

DON'T MISS:

The Daily Express stated in March that the young midfielder is worth roughly £50 million, which makes sense (in comparison to RMC's pricing) because the player may be enticed for nothing next year.

Camavinga can play anywhere in the middle of the field, but he primarily serves as a play breaker (The Athletic).

He prefers to push and tackle for the ball, a role that N'Golo Kante excelled in for France. That's why he doesn't have a lot of ambitions. The three-cap international has only reached the back of the goal twice in 82 appearances for Rennes.

Ole has several creative midfielders at Old Trafford, but he needs a reliable playmaker to give cover in front of the back four. With Matic past his best and mainly a bench warmer, in your view, should Man Utd move in to finally sign Eduardo Camavinga?
