Man United To Complete his Transfer As Dortmund Grows Tired Of Winger's Situation

According to reports, Borussia Dortmund may be ready to let Jadon Sancho join Manchester United.

Sancho has apparently being pursued by the Red Devils for over a year. According to recent rumors, things have been going well for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, with Borussia Dortmund open to completing the winger's transfer.

Veteran writer Peter O'Rourke of The Sportsman provided an update on the looming Sancho to Manchester United deal, claiming that Borussia Dortmund is aware of "the reality" that the youngster is leaving, and that the Red Devils may be able to complete his transfer this summer.

On the podcast "The Football Terrace," O'Rourke stated, "I think it's getting closer." “I believe we're all sick of the Jadon Sancho saga because it's been going on for a year, but it's been a transfer saga, and I think it'll finally come to a successful finish this summer.”

He said, "[Borussia] Dortmund are reconciled to the notion that the England winger will go and most likely return to the Premier League." “Manchester United is leading the hunt for him, as they have been since last summer when they felt they could complete a deal but couldn't agree on terms.”

However, while nothing is set in stone, O'Rourke believes Sancho's move to Old Trafford could still go wrong if "something extraordinary" happens along the road.

“Finally, unless anything dramatic happens, we should see Jadon Sancho in a Manchester United shirt this summer,” the writer continued.

Fabrizio Romano, a renowned transfer insider, has revealed the same story about the Sancho transfer fiasco.

According to Romano, Manchester United has reached the "final" stages of the Sancho agreement, with the only remaining uncertainty being the English club's financial commitment.

"As I've stated numerous times, personal terms have been agreed upon over the past week, thus personal terms are acceptable and nothing new. Also, agent fees have been agreed upon; there are no issues with agents or with the player "On the podcast "Here We Go," Romano recently stated. "It's now only a matter of negotiating with Borussia Dortmund, who are seeking €95 million ($113 million) in compensation.

Manchester United is aware that they will not be able to sign [Jadon] Sancho for €70 million ($83 million), thus they are in the midst of routine discussions."

"It will be a simple negotiation if Sancho joins Manchester United,” he added. “So it'll be a few of weeks. The second point is that all parties involved in the talks are optimistic about reaching an agreement this summer. It is now up to Manchester United to make the payment. Dortmund, the players, and Manchester United are all hopeful and confident this time. It's time to come to a consensus on the payment system, add-ons, and final fee."
