Man United Predicted XI vs Luton Town (Carabao Cup away, 2020/21)

Man United Predicted XI vs Luton Town (Carabao Cup away, 2020/21)

Manchester United will be facing Luton Town on the third round of the Carabao Cup.

It will be good if Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not ring the change here. With no pre-season for the Red,

all those players need to get some minutes of competition under their belts. Fortunately, with up to three matches per week being played, it shouldn't take them too long to get up to speed.

The main problem with the current Man Utd squad is the lack of depth, hence why newcomers need to be made this summer.

The line-up that will be chosen tonight will only reinforce that belief, with some sub-par players getting at least some minutes in this match. Due to injuries,

Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe will be ruled out of the game, though aside from the two-player, Man Utd coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a pretty big squad to choose from.

Anyway, let's delve right into the possible XI we think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will go with.

In the back post, it is Dean Henderson's time to watch over the goal after signing a new deal with the Red. we fully think he is ready for his debut for Manchester United.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will likely be featuring in this match since he missed the Premier League opening match against Crystal Palace on Saturday due to absence in the training.

Brandon Williams will be starting from the opposite flank as he keeps on with his improvement.

Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire will likely not be in the game in other to give other defenders a starting opportunity.

Eric Bailly will be starting and be paired with Teden Mengi who will also be playing his first match for United senior team.

Nemanja Matic and Fred will be controlling the midfield with the likes of Donny van de Beek who had an exciting debut at Old Trafford despite the outcome of the match.

Odion Ighalo will be leading the frontline, with Jesse Lingard starting from his left and Juan Mata on his right. However,

this Man Utd back-up front three is not good enough to lift the title for the Red. We need to go to the market and sign new players before the close of the window.
