Scotland squad unveiled as Scott McTominay blow and new call-ups announced

Scotland manager Steve Clarke has named his team for the World Cup 2022 qualifying matches against Denmark, Moldova, and Austria — with Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay out with an injury.

McTominay has been a consistent performer for head coach Clarke over the previous 12 months, playing in both defense and midfield,

but the Manchester United star is unable to participate this time due to injury. Captain Andy Robertson and Kierney Tierney have been cleared of any fitness issues following a physical examination.

Lewis Ferguson has been called up for the first time, and the goalkeeping pair of Liam Kelly and Zander Clark have also been called up to the squad. David Marshall, Derby County's usual first-choice striker, is unable to participate after being demoted to the third choice.
