Manchester United fans have seen unusual transfer activity involving Jesse Lingard.

Manchester United supporters were taken aback by the apparent announcement of Jesse Lingard's loan move to West Ham.

The dynamic Englishman spent time with the London club in the second half of last season and it's reasonable to say he had a good experience.

Lingard performed admirably and was even called up to the England squad for the Euros.

Unfortunately, he was left out of the final team, but it was a huge step forward in his career given his lack of playing time prior to joining West Ham.

The official Premier League website states Lingard has returned to West Ham on loan, however, if the website has changed or is no longer available, The Peoples Person has captured a screenshot below.

Lingard's future is very much in doubt, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refuses to admit it openly.

Instead, the renowned Norwegian lauded his player's form and work rate, saying that there is still room in the current group.

Manchester United signed Jadon Sancho this summer, leading many to feel Lingard's time at the club was ended.

After all, there doesn't appear to be a spot for him in the starting XI, and he left last season owing to a desire to play first-team football.

Given that he'll be on the bench for the majority of games once again, it's strange that he's content with that scenario.

Accidents have occurred in the past when revealing player moves, so it would not be surprising if the agreement is genuine.
