After the young defender's first competitive match for St Johnstone, manager Callum Davidson lauded Manchester United loanee, Reece Devine.
Davidson started the left-back and won a penalty in St Johnstone's 0-0 draw with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership on an opening day.
Prior to the tie in Dingwall, Devine had never played a senior match since joining Saints on a season-long loan from Manchester United earlier this summer.
So far, Devine has only played U18s and U23s football for Manchester United. On Thursday night, he could face a major challenge as St Johnstone travels to Galatasaray in the Europa League third qualifying roun

“I thought he was excellent,” Davidson said of Devine. Reece deserves credit because it was his first senior game. He was a touch behind when he arrived from Manchester United. He has, nevertheless, put forth a lot of effort to improve.
“You can see he has ability and speed,” says the coach. He'll be a danger to us. He gave a fantastic performance.
