Manchester United star could leave after blowing everybody away at Euro 2020

Manchester United finished in second place and got to a Europa League final last season, yet they still finished the trophy without medals, but with plenty of regret and frustration.

When the context of last season is reinstated, United was never close to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side and they should have beaten a very plucky and determined, but yet inferior Villarreal side.

DON'T MISS:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can point to the fact they only lost to an incredible penalty shootout where David De Gea was the only player out of a possible 22 who missed a penalty in the final in Gdansk, yet when comparing the two sides on paper one could suggest the contest never should have gone to penalties.

Changes look likely at Old Trafford; however, according to reports from 90min.com, French midfielder Paul Pogba could be set to return to former club Juventus.

The 28-year-old was sensational for France in the summer’s European Championships, and he probably would have easily won the player of the tournament if Les Bleus were not downed by Switzerland on penalties in the round of 16 stage.

DON'T MISS:

They were performances more attributed to his time in Turin with Juventus rather than at Manchester United, and it is reported the Italians are more than keen to bring him back.

Massimiliano Allegri nurtured the French superstar before he was signed by United in an £89 million move in the 2016-17 season, and with Allegri returning to Turin there is a possibility Pogba could also return.

United are yet to decide to extend Pogba’s contract at Old Trafford as it is reported any new deal would command a stunning £400,000 per week wage for the Frenchman.
