Derby County's pre-season preparations will be put to the test this weekend when they face Manchester United at Pride Park Stadium (1pm kick-off).
Following a training camp in the South East of England, the Rams will return to the East Midlands this weekend.
DON'T MISS:
As United prepares for the 2021-22 Premier League season, manager Wayne Rooney will face his former team.
Curtis Davies, whose contract with the Rams has expired, Phil Jagielka, Ravel Morrison, Sone Aluko, and Sam Baldock are among the five free agents who have been practicing with the Derby team.
Meanwhile, United is missing a slew of first-team players who competed in the recent European Championships and Copa America events.
However, there will be some huge names in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad, and additional information about that has already surfaced.
DON'T MISS:
Jesse Lingard, a former Derby loanee who returned to Old Trafford after a hugely impressive loan spell at West Ham last season, might make an appearance.
Former Derby goalkeeper Lee Grant, as well as Teden Mengi, who was on loan with the Rams last season, are both in a position to play.
Along with summer addition and fellow keeper Tom Heaton, Nemanja Matic, and Juan Mata, Grant is likely to be one of the more experienced members of the club.
Mason Greenwood, Andreas Pereira, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Alex Telles, Axel Tuanzebe, and Brandon Williams are among the players expected to participate.
Many up-and-coming talents are likely to travel to Derby, including Facundo Pellistri, Shola Shoretire, Anthony Elanga, Hannibal, and James Garner, who spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Meanwhile, despite having signed loan deals with Birmingham City and Mansfield Town, Tahith Chong and Nathan Bishop are still available for United.
