Bruno Fernandes, a midfielder for Manchester United, has joined Portuguese side Boavista for some extra training before returning to Old Trafford to begin pre-season.
Following his Euro 2020 campaign with Portugal this summer, the 26-year-old was given some time off to recuperate and heal. Instead, he has decided to focus on improving his fitness and talents.

Fernandes has reunited with his boyhood team, with whom he spent eight years as a youth, in order to ensure that he comes to England in top form.
'He already has the magic shirt!' Boavista wrote with an Instagram photo of Fernandes holding one of their match shirts. 'Have you placed your order?'
'Bruno Fernandes + Boavista FC - there is no love like the first,' they captioned a video of the midfielder in action at their training complex.
Don't worry, Manchester United, he will arrive even better!' they added.
Fernandes is shown in the video going through a series of drills to improve his footwork, speed, and accuracy.

The midfielder, who joined United from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020 and has scored 40 goals, was also seen practicing his shooting.
Next season, Fernandes will be looking to add to his total and help Manchester United push for the crown once more.
Jadon Sancho is expected to join Fernandes' team, with the England star's £73 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund set to be announced soon.
Sancho might be joined by Raphael Varane, who has been linked with a move to United. The Real Madrid and France defender would be an ideal companion for captain Harry Maguire.
