Rashford, along with Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka, was one of three England players to miss penalties as Italy won at Wembley.
Following the game, all three men were subjected to horrific racist abuse on social media, and the jerks continued their heinous behavior away from the internet.
DON'T MISS:
Not long after his failed penalty, the mural of Rashford in Withington was scribbled over with writing in blue paint.
The wording is virtually unreadable over the black and white image, but it plainly states "F**k Sancho" and "B***ard," as well as a penis drawing.
Rashford, who is only 23, has already done more for his community and country than the scumbags who damaged the artwork have or will ever do.
The fact that he missed a shot in a football game, no matter how 'important' that football game is, in no way diminishes his value as a young man.
If you can't accept losing in a football game without racially insulting someone or defacing a memorial to them, football isn't for you.
DON'T MISS:
Rashford has successfully persuaded the government to reverse its policy of feeding disadvantaged children during school vacations not once, but twice in the last year.
He also founded a book club to encourage young people to read more books, and he published a children's book called "How to Be the Best You Can Be," which educates children to be confident in their own skin and to dream big.
He was the youngest person to ever top the Sunday Times Giving List for his charitable activity, and he spoke out forcefully against the European Super League.
All while scoring 11 Premier League goals and assisting nine times for Manchester United, and helping England reach the Euro 2020 final.
And this is a man you'd like to humiliate. I'm afraid that says more about you than it does about him!
