He now has extra reason to impress at Manchester United

Jadon Sancho was expected to play at Manchester United this summer. However, the upcoming new Red Devils signing is yet to make an appearance at Euro 2020.

England has fared admirably without him. But it's still strange that a player who has 16 goals and 20 assists for his country last season barely gets a mention.

DON'T MISS:

Sancho's influence in the Bundesliga is evident when German fans can't believe he didn't start against them. However, United may benefit from the winger's summer troubles.

United have agreed to pay £73 million for the player, according to the BBC. Sancho will be anxious to demonstrate supporters closer to home if the move goes through as planned.

The 21-year-old is a consistent performer for his club. His international achievements, on the other hand, are less spectacular.

That in no way diminishes his worth. After all, England's rigidity is not something United supporters would appreciate.

DON'T MISS:

Sancho will be free to do his own thing when he comes at Old Trafford. And it's quite a thing.

United's rumored signing has already scored 50 goals and added 64 assists in 137 club appearances.

He'll be eager to make an impression at Euro 2020. Whatever happens, he'll know he's got the perfect opportunity to demonstrate to Premier League fans that he's more than just a sub.

It's possible that this isn't Sancho's tournament. His time, though, will come.

In the meantime, expect him to make an immediate impact in a United shirt next season.

So far in the competition, the winger has only played six minutes for his country. As the Three Lions pursue their first major trophy since 1966, he could still play a key role. United, on the other hand, may prefer if he keeps all of his bottled-up rage for domestic action.

A Sancho on a mission could be fascinating to watch.
