DHARMESH SHETH TALKS ABOUT POGBA’S FUTURE

DHARMESH SHETH TALKS ABOUT POGBA’S FUTURE

Dharmesh Sheth, a Sky Sportswriter, recently discussed Manchester United player Paul Pogba's future.

According to recent reports, PSG could make their interest in Pogba official shortly, and the Frenchman is now unlikely to sign a new contract with Manchester United, as his current term expires in 2022.

Sheth was interviewed in the newest episode of the Stretford Paddock's Tier 1 Podcast. He discussed a number of concerns facing United, including Pogba.

According to the journalist, Pogba still has three options, and conversations over a new contract are underway.

“You're going to think I'm going to be on the fence here,” the Sky journalist said, “but I'm told that all possibilities are still possible.” His representatives are still in talks with Manchester United, and while those talks are still ongoing, there is still a potential that a new deal will become available, however unlikely that is.

DON'T MISS:

“Those three choices are: he stays at Manchester United and signs a new deal; he departs Manchester United this summer; or, if you look at it from the start, he stays at Manchester United but does not sign a new contract.”

TIF Opinions on Pogba's Future...

United would be losing a lot of money if they allowed Pogba leave for free, given that he was purchased for a then-world-record £89 million sum. As a result, it's critical that they profit from his sale or give him a new deal.

Despite this, the midfielder is claimed to be requesting a weekly wage of £400,000, which is a substantial sum. And United's compensation structure already contains a number of high-paid players.

So, if United can't afford the new deal's salaries, Pogba might be sold this summer. They might put that money towards improving other areas of the pitch.
