The two of them would make Manchester United ‘unstoppable’, warns Louis Saha

Louis Saha wants Jadon Sancho and Harry Kane to join Manchester United.

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha feels that if Jadon Sancho and Harry Kane are signed this summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team will be "unstoppable" next season.

DON'T MISS:

The Red Devils are closing in on a deal for Dortmund winger Sancho, who is anxious to transfer to Old Trafford after a potential return to England fell through 12 months ago.

United, on the other hand, has maintained its interest, and Solskjaer feels that adding Sancho to his roster can solve the team's long-term concerns on the right wing.

While Saha applauds Sancho's arrival, he believes United requires a younger centre forward than Edinson Cavani to push them to the next level, and that the arrival of Kane from Tottenham would make them "unstoppable."

‘I think Sancho's profile is a little different, in that he isn't seeking for the goal himself,' Saha explained to Gamblingdeals.com.

‘The other players you mentioned have done so. They sometimes do it quickly and are unable to pick the best pass. Sancho is acting in this manner. He's been able to broaden his game and make some excellent passes. He has a great attacking rhythm that makes you feel like you're not sure what he's going to do next, but you know another player is going to get the ball. This is quite difficult.

DON'T MISS:

‘They'll be unstoppable if he connects up with a proper striker in this United side.' United have Bruno Fernandes, who can produce but occasionally has to push passes due to his lack of speed. He must come to a complete halt so that everyone can see that he is about to pass the ball. Sancho accomplishes this by dribbling and driving forward before receiving the pass. This is something that is occasionally lacking. Sancho is providing United with the unpredictability they require at times.

‘I believe they require Harry Kane, an in-form Rashford and Martial, a top-flight Bruno Fernandes, and a still-developing Greenwood. They require all of those players to improve and be more consistent throughout the season. They just need to make a couple fewer goalkeeping errors and they'll be OK.

‘Earlier in the season, they had a five- or six-game run where they just weren't themselves, which resulted in them exiting the Champions League at the Group Stages. I have no idea what happened. It's a different season when you generate that momentum while still in the Champions League.

‘They lost their chance to stay in contention for the Premier League title in those five or six games.' So all of this — consistency, leadership, and rivalry inside the club – is required. It's a feeling of "no, if I don't perform, someone else will do better on another weekend," thus I won't be the starter and they'll take my place.

‘What United needs is that level of competitiveness and all of their players to perform.'
