Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has stated that everyone at the club shares Harry Kane's unhappiness with the team's trophy drought.

Spurs haven't won a trophy since defeating Chelsea in the league cup final in 2008, a fact that Harry Kane is said to be fed up with.

The 27-year-old has also been tight-lipped about his future football plans, revealing to Gary Neville that he wants to win trophies.

However, football.london knows that, contrary to some rumours, the England captain has not informed the club's hierarchy of his wish to leave Tottenham this summer.

Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy has now spoken out about the speculation surrounding Kane's future, admitting that everyone at the club is frustrated by the team's failure to win a trophy.

When asked about Kane's future, Levy told the club's website, "I'm never going to discuss explicitly about any particular player in public."

"All I can say is that I, and I'm sure all the fans and players, share his frustration with us not winning." We all obviously want to win.

DON'T MISS:

"I believe one of the issues that [Spurs' managing director of football] Fabio [Paratici] will have to deal with when he takes over is determining which players will be retained and which will be instructed to seek for other teams." We will do whatever is in the best interests of the club."

Spurs fans will be hopeful that Kane, who has three years left on his present contract, would extend it this summer.

The dynamic striker had a fantastic 2020/21 season, scoring 33 goals and providing 17 assists across all competitions to win his third Premier League Golden Boot.

Kane will lead the line for England in this summer's European Champions, with the Three Lions kicking off their campaign against Croatia at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
