Man United has struggled to get the best out of Paul Pogba on a consistent basis for whatever reason, thus it may be wiser to let him go and build entirely around Bruno Fernandes.
It's a difficult scenario since Pogba is a popular and talented player, but his contract expires next summer, and United cannot afford to lose him on a free transfer.
According to ESPN, Juve may not be able to pay a large cost to lure him back to Turin this summer, but they are willing to authorize a massive swap deal that United could be interested in.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the first player on the table; is he exactly what Man United requires right now? No. Is it possible that attempting to integrate him into the team may cause further problems and possibly weaken them? Almost certainly. Wouldn't it be great to witness for the neutral? It most certainly would.
The more rational option would be Paulo Dybala, who is a world-class player who is just beginning his prime and would be a better fit for the team than Ronaldo, who would insist that everything be structured around him if he returns.
It will all come down to Pogba and whether or not he signs a new contract, but either player would be such an intriguing move if it were to happen.
