Manchester United is considering a bid for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga once Jadon Sancho's deal from Borussia Dortmund is completed this week.

Sancho's £77 million deal is set to be finalized in the coming days as United and Dortmund work out the finer points of a fee arrangement. After that, United will focus on bringing in a central midfielder and a center back.

DON'T MISS:

Camavinga is recognized as one of Europe's most promising young midfielders.

Despite being only 18, he has already been capped three times for France, scoring on his debut against Ukraine, and is being monitored by PSG, Real Madrid, and Arsenal.

Last year, United missed out on a move for Borussia Dortmund's and England's Jude Bellingham, but view Camavinga as a capable replacement.

DON'T MISS:

When Paul Pogba welcomed Camavinga into the France squad, he referred to him as a "little dancer," and the teenager's contract is up in a year.

Rennes has informed United that they are willing to sell him now rather than risk him becoming a free agent later.

Camavinga, who was born in Angola and played for Rennes from the age of 16, has a stadium named after him near Fougeres, Brittany, where he grew up.
