Man United finalise his signing after terms agreed

Man United finalise his signing after terms agreed

Man United has accepted personal terms with Jadon Sancho and are close to reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund on a fee and payment structure, according to Football Insider.

The teams are still negotiating over what would be a phenomenal deal and the largest in the world so far this summer.

DON'T MISS:

A United source told Football Insider that a full agreement for a £77.5 million deal might be reached in the coming days.

Sancho would not finalize the transfer until the completion of England's participation in the Euros this summer.

However, with the exception of the technicalities, most aspects of the transfer have now been agreed upon and are ready to be signed off on.

Dortmund has given Sancho permission to depart and has cut their initial asking price from £85 million to £77.5 million.

After coming close to a deal last summer, United has been quietly working on the deal for months.

DON'T MISS:

Sancho has agreed to a five-year contract worth £350,000 per year with the 20-time Premier League champions.

It will immediately elevate him to one of the highest-paid players in the English Premier League and around Europe.

Previous skepticism that such a hard and costly transfer could be completed is giving way to a sense among those involved that the deal is almost done.

After four years at Dortmund, Sancho is eager to return to his birthplace. He has not started any of England's three Euro 2016 matches.

Ole Gunnar-Solskjaer has made finding a right-sided forward who can provide pace and a goal threat a priority.

In recent seasons, Sancho has been one of the most effective wide men in the Bundesliga.

In 38 games last season, he scored 16 goals and added 20 assists, and he has 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 Dortmund outings.

In other developments, a pundit claims that Manchester United is “coming in now” with a massive bid for the superstar.
