Manchester United ready to offer a new three-year deal to world star

Jesse Lingard, an offensive midfielder for Manchester United, is expected to be offered a new contract.

The 28-year-old is approaching the end of his contract with the Red Devils.

DON'T MISS:

The club must determine whether or not to sell him or offer him a new contract.

According to the Daily Star, the 20-time Premier League champions have offered Lingard a three-year contract.

His earnings will be increased to £130,000 per week from £110,000 per week under the new contract.

It will include a clause that, like prior arrangements, will trigger a one-year extension.

The viewpoint of Red Rants

Jesse Lingard has served the Red Devils admirably. He holds the club and its supporters in high regard.

He does, however, need to relocate to a club where he can play frequently at the age of 28.

DON'T MISS:

He had a fantastic season with West Ham, scoring nine goals and adding four assists in 16 Premier League appearances.

The England international was a driving force behind David Moyes' squad, who qualified for European competition this season.

During his six-month stint with the Hammers, he has demonstrated that he can be an important player of a squad that lets him to play every week.

With Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba, and Mason Greenwood ahead of him in the pecking order, Lingard was unable to break into Solskjaer's starting XI.

The arrival of Jadon Sancho this summer has been heavily linked with United.

This will enhance competition for offensive positions, thus restricting Lingard's playing time

His outstanding achievements for the London club have boosted his stock, and this might be the ideal window for the Red Devils to offload him.
