we dont need him, United fans react angrily to report of major transfer plan

According to The Sun, Manchester United is preparing a £90 million deal for Harry Kane if the player pushes for a move.

It is thought to be an effort by the club's founders, the Glazer family, to satisfy supporters after ongoing outrage about their purchase of the Old Trafford club.

 DON'T MISS:

This season, the England captain has had a fruitful season, scoring 31 goals in all club competitions and assisting on 13 goals in the Premier League. Kane would undoubtedly contribute to United's existing goal-scoring threat.

Not all fans will take this news seriously, given recent rumors that Edinson Cavani will remain for another two years after agreeing to a new contract.

It is fair to assume that both fans were disappointed and irritated by the latest developments surrounding the short-lived European Super League. United fans have become vocal about their enthusiasm for the 50+1 supporters concept in football.

The Glazer family might be about to cash out on a big move to help resolve recent incidents, so how are Red Devils fans reacting to the news?

 DON'T MISS:

One fan speculated that the Tottenham chairman will be hesitant to sell to another Premier League club:

“I'd love to see that happen, but I don't believe Daniel Levy would sell to us for some money; I think it's The Sun being The Sun, but I'd love it if I'm wrong.”

Kane's latest injury issues have been cited by many fans as a justification why he could not be signed.

“Excellent striker. Excellent finisher. Team player and leader. However, it is too vulnerable to injuries. Every day is Haaland for me.”

“Excellent player. However, she is vulnerable to injuries. We don't need him. We want a right-winger, and Sancho is a viable option.”

“That money will be best used on Halaand because Kane is too aged and vulnerable to injury.”

Instead, another fan raised our right side issues as a top priority:

“Amazing striker, but Jadon Sancho is a must-have. We attack less from the right flank, which results in fewer opportunities for our strikers.”

Finally, fans have pointed out how ridiculously cheap the asking price is right now.

“Spurs would not approve it for 90 million. Right or wrong, they would trust him twice as much. He's under contract until 2024, but there's no way to force an agreement with Levy. He'd be a perfect addition to United, just not at that price.”

“It's a nothing tale. For instance, Spurs will want £100 million or more for Kane (remember, he is vulnerable to injury), and they would not sell him to United or any other English club. I sincerely think he will stay with the North London club regardless of who takes over as manager.”

Kane would not seem to be a signing that United supporters will ideally expect the board to prioritize, although with the postponed European Championships approaching, it is likely that an attempt may be made earlier rather than later.
