Solskjaer admits he still doesn't know whether Greenwood will be a striker or winger

Mason Greenwood will have played his 100th match for Manchester United against Liverpool on Sunday.

He'll have to wait until tomorrow's match against Roma to hit his century, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer mentioned him during the pre-match press conference.

 DON"T MISS:

At 1pm, it was broadcast live on the club's official app, and Solskjaer revealed that he really doesn't know Greenwood's best spot.

He said that he was unsure whether Greenwood would put in enough effort to be a consistent center forward choice, implying that he could continue to play from the right.

“We spoke about it before the Liverpool game – it was going to be his 100th game,” Solskjaer said of Greenwood.

“We said, for example, let's score a winner. He scores goals and that's what he does. He's so astute, and his build-up play is flawless. He's assisting people.

 DON"T MISS:

“It's one thing to make a decision. Is he destined to be a central striker or a right-winger? You're going to get injured if you try to be a no.9; you're going to have to poke your head in to crack your nose.

“He's a pretty kid, and I'm not sure he wants to do that.” We have a lot of jobs, so keep doing what he's doing; he's just 19 years
