MANCHESTER UNITED: FABRIZIO ROMANO SHARES LATEST JADON SANCHO UPDATE

MANCHESTER UNITED: FABRIZIO ROMANO SHARES LATEST JADON SANCHO UPDATE

With current United attacker Mason Greenwood scoring four goals in his five previous Premier League games for the Red Devils, and the fact that he is still just 19-years-old, we believe Sancho's potential arrival at Old Trafford might delay Greenwood's progress at the club and affect his playing time.

Fabrizio Romano, a football writer, has posted the most recent information about Borussia Dortmund and confirmed Manchester United transfer goal, Jadon Sancho.

DON"T MISS:

This comes after Romano co-hosted a new episode of the Here We Go Podcast, in which he discussed a variety of issues circulating in the field of European football at the moment.

“At the moment, no one is publicly negotiating with Borussia Dortmund,” he added, adding that “the timing of the contract would be critical.”

“So, Borussia Dortmund will not be open to negotiating for Sancho in late August, No, definitely no, they prefer to open negotiations from the start of the transfer market, like, I don't know, in June or July, just not in late August because they have to find a substitute to render their plan.

“So that's it for Jadon Sancho; let's see, he was definitely ready to join Manchester United last season, and he was ecstatic to join Manchester United. So, I'm sure if Manchester United comes back, giving money to Borussia Dortmund and speaking with Sancho, he'll be overjoyed, but other clubs were and are involved, but it's a wide-open race.”

DON"T MISS:

Since joining Dortmund from Premier League side Manchester City in the 2017 summer transfer window for a fee of £7.05 million, the 21-year-old has made 133 appearances for the Bundesliga side in all competitions, scoring 46 goals and providing 62 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

TIF Opinions on Fabrizio Romano's remarks on Sancho...

Given how close United got to signing Sancho last summer, it would be curious to see if they are willing to reignite their interest in the winger and contact Dortmund again in order to complete a contract.
