According to reports, Harry Kane has made Manchester City his top summer destination, despite interest from Manchester United, Chelsea, and Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old has informed Tottenham that he wishes to leave at the end of the season in order to improve his chances of winning major trophies at the club level.

Spurs, on the other hand, are in a strong negotiating position because the England captain has three years left on his current contract, which expires this summer.

Several clubs in Europe have been alerted to Kane's potential availability, but according to talkSPORT, the striker prefers a move to City over any other club.

Meanwhile, The Athletic reports that Kane was interested in joining City last summer, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy refused to let him join Pep Guardiola's team.

Kane is said to have asked his England teammates who play for City about living in the area, and the players believe the Spurs striker will join the newly crowned Premier League champions. Meanwhile, City is looking for a new striker, as Sergio Aguero's contract is set to expire at the end of the season.

According to The Athletic, Kane would be hesitant to join Chelsea due to their long-standing rivalry with Spurs. When asked if Kane had asked to leave Spurs, interim manager Ryan Mason replied on Tuesday, 'No, not that I'm aware of.' Every conversation I've had with Harry has been about the game. I'm not sure about all of these conversations.

'I'm not sure.' I talk to Harry almost every day. He's as excited as I am about [the game against Aston Villa]. 'Our only conversation has been about the game tomorrow.' We are excited for tomorrow.' He comes in tomorrow because he is our best striker and one of the best strikers in the world.'

I've been consistent, and I'll be here for the next two games, which is my main focus in preparing a football team and winning a football game. Hopefully, we can pull it off and Harry can get on the board.' They'll enjoy watching him play.

He adores the club; he's been a member since he was a child and has progressed through the ranks. I'm sure the fans are looking forward to seeing Harry play.'
