Bruno Fernandes says that these two stars could be impossible to replace

Bruno Fernandes says Cavani and Pogba could be impossible to replace

Manchester United might be on the verge of something special. That's how it seemed last week, as the squad thrashed Roma 6-2.

However, there are concerns that two key players in the win, Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba, could quit the club.

 DON"T MISS:

Cavani is yet to sign a new contract, although Pogba has just one year remaining on his current agreement, which may cause United to make an unfavorable choice this summer.

Bruno Fernandes is pleading for both teammates to return. He cautioned at United's press conference that replacing the pair could be difficult without breaking the bank.

According to Fernandes, "they are very valuable for us and the qualities they have – it is difficult to find on the market for a reasonable price."

“I believe everybody understands that the squad is growing with their assistance, and it is important for us to retain our best talent and continue to improve as a team.”

 DON"T MISS:

Performance may be beneficial...

If Cavani and Pogba are unsure about their futures, winning a trophy could help them determine.

United are on the brink of winning the semi-finals, with the squad leading 6-2 after the first leg.

Then comes a match against either Arsenal or Villarreal, with United as favorites in both cases.

Exceptional artists

Cavani scored twice and assisted twice in the first leg, while Pogba scored once and was actively active in the buildup to United's opener.

Both players contribute to Fernandes' success. United's leading scorer thrives while Pogba is on the field and opponents can't overload him physically or the Frenchman will punish them.

Cavani's action upfront allows more future passes for Fernandes to play, and the three of them seem to be developing a genuine bond. Not just that, but they're all major characters who will step in anytime the team needs them.

Pogba has desired to be surrounded by champions for years, and he is now getting his wish. United simply needs him to dedicate his career to the club to help this squad hit the next stage with one or two elite replacements this season to compliment him rather than substitute him.

According to ESPN, Pogba can ‘see himself lasting longer,' and although a deal extension with agent Mino Raiola would be tough, things are looking up for the time being.
