Amad is expected to be recalled to Manchester United's roster for their match against Leicester.

The 18-year-old travelled to Villa Park on Sunday but was left out of the 20-man matchday squad and had to settle for a seat in the stands.

DON"T MISS:

Amad is yet to make his true career debut and has only made five substitute appearances since joining Manchester United in January for a fee of £37 million.

The Ivory Coast international impressed in the Europa League last 16 ties against AC Milan and may make his debut for United before the end of the domestic season.

"Of course, Adi has a shot on Tuesday," Solskjaer said. "He's doing good in training. We noticed the need for more defenders out there today. I had a variety of forwarding players to choose from, and of course, Edinson came on and scored."

United won the league and FA Cup against Leicester last season, but drew on Boxing Day at the King Power Stadium and were defeated 3-1 in the FA Cup quarter-finals in March.

DON"T MISS:

Leicester have achieved their first FA Cup final since 1969, but they are struggling in the league and have slipped to fourth after a 4-2 loss to Newcastle on Friday.

Liverpool trail Brendan Rodgers' side by six points with a game in hand, but Solskjaer remains pleased by Leicester's progress under the former Celtic manager.

"We've had two tough games against them this season," Solskjaer said. "They're a very strong squad of some very good individuals, and they're struggling for a top four spot while still playing in the FA Cup final."

"I've said it before and I'll say it again: Brendan and his teams are a pleasure to watch and they play strong football."
