ALEX FERGUSON TURNS UP AT PSG'S TEAM HOTEL IN MANCHESTER

Alex Ferguson was seen entering Paris St. Germain's team hotel ahead of tonight's vital Champions League match against Manchester City.

The iconic football boss Ferguson was seen entering the hotel where Mauricio Pochettino and his players were staying in Manchester while the second leg of a semi-final was balanced in Pep Guardiola's favor.

DON'T MISS:

Although no confirmation of a meeting between Alex Ferguson, Pochettino, and PSG has been forthcoming, it is believed that the French club is actually the only tenant of the hotel's facilities.

In accordance with the new coronavirus policy, no other visitors are believed to be allowed on the grounds.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the 79-year-old Scot made no apologies for visiting the hotel on Tuesday morning.

DON'T MISS:

While he has won the Champions League twice with Manchester United, it is uncertain if his involvement has any bearing on tonight's semi-final between PSG and Manchester City.

Ferguson and Pochettino were once Premier League rivals, but it is understood that they have a good friendship now.

The Argentine Pochettino, who was said to be Ferguson's option to take over at Manchester United, has a shot to make his second Champions League final tonight.

After being defeated by Liverpool with Tottenham Hotspur in 2018 final, his team would need to head to the Etihad Stadium tonight and score at least two goals to advance.

It's no small feat, and if they succeed against Guardiola's side, the logic behind Alex Ferguson's presence on Tuesday afternoon will become apparent.
