Rio Ferdinand, a former West Ham and Manchester United defender, says Declan Rice is "like a sponge" and will have lots of questions about living at Old Trafford.
DON'T MISS:
London acknowledges that West Ham's stance on the midfielder is well-defined.
Rice, according to Ferdinand, is a laid-back character who does not force a switch between clubs.
He does, however, say that the midfielder is rather inquisitive and has previously inquired about life at Manchester United.
"It'll be between the clubs if it happens," Ferdinand told FIVE.
"He won't be the one to start it."
"I think he's a laid-back kid in that way, but I see him as somebody, and I've talked to him."
DON'T MISS:
"I'm not sure about this move, but he's a determined young man."
He has a strong will to succeed and is a sponge.
'How was it with your team?'
"In that regard, he reminds me a lot of myself."
He'll ask you something like, 'How was he studying at United?'
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
"That would apply to a player in his place."
He needs to know more, and you can't blame a child for wanting to know everything."
David Moyes previously said that he would not sell the midfielder for £100 million.
"I disagree with the owners that Declan Rice is a £100 million footballer," said Moyes.
"Much, much more than £100 million."
"First and foremost, Declan is under contract, so he can't go anywhere no matter what, and I keep saying, and I hope people understand, that when I say something, I mean it."
We have not received an offer for Declan Rice, and I hope we do not get one."
