During Manchester United's 0-0 draw with Leeds, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had no problem with Harry Maguire and Fred's tense conversation.
United drew their eighth goalless draw of the season at Leeds, where emotions threatened to flare in the 72nd minute when Maguire bit back at advice from Fred.
DON'T MISS:
During a stoppage, Maguire could be heard calling Fred a 'f——-g fool,' but Solskjaer said that United does not want a team full of 'good men.'
"We have a party that expects a lot from each other," Solskjaer said of the squabble.
"The bar has been set really high, both in preparation and in the game."
"It's more than about being a good guy and cajoling.
We expect full commitment.
"I was very proud of how good we looked in the second half, how we dominated possession, regains, and how easily we took the ball back and never thought they challenged our target."
Despite losing two points, United is undefeated in their last 24 Premier League away games and is two points away from going unbeaten in the entire league season.
Next month, United moves to Aston Villa, and their final game of the season is at Wolves, where they have not won since the Midlands club was relegated to the Premier League in 2018.
"It's a nice success, whether there are supporters or not," Solskjaer said.
"Twenty-three, or 24 games, without a loss."
I believe the players have prepared well for these games; we travel; the work by the coaches on each game is excellent; it is meticulously planned; I have to say that we hope this trend persists.
Because we have big games coming up and we want to get as many points as we can."
United host Roma in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday, followed by a visit from Liverpool on Sunday.
