Following the failure of the European Super League plans, Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has called for fan solidarity.
At 10.55 p.m. on Tuesday, United, along with Tottenham, Liverpool, and Arsenal, announced their exclusion from the recently proposed competition.

Following in the footsteps of Manchester City and Chelsea, the clubs left the breakaway league in the face of strong criticism from fans, sports leaders, and policymakers around the globe.
"We have carefully listened to the response from our supporters, the UK government, and other core stakeholders," United said in a tweet.
"We remain committed to collaborating with those in the football industry to find long-term solutions to the game's long-term problems."

Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Luke Shaw have all condemned the Super League in social media messages, and now captain Maguire has spoken out in the aftermath of the club's exit.

Maguire shared a photo from United's iconic Premier League title celebrations in 2013, captioned 'Let's all keep UNITED,' and accompanied it with red, white, and black emojis.
Brandon Williams, a club teammate, also paid homage on social media with an upload from the same victory parade eight years ago.
