Manchester United fans will be ecstatic to see the new social media update from one of the club's most promising young players, Marc Jurado, who has recently signed his first professional deal with the club.
Jurado joined Manchester United last summer after turning down a contract extension with Barcelona, according to the MEN, and has mostly played for the Red Devils' Under-18s this season.
The Spaniard announced the news two weeks after his 17th birthday, the age at which young footballers will sign their first professional deal.
Jurado claimed that he is ‘delighted' at this time, and he took the opportunity to ‘thank' his family, colleagues, and all for all of their ‘support' in his career to date.
Jurado, an ex-La Masia starlet, has played 14 times for the Under-18s, mostly as a right-back but also on the left on occasion. He recently made his Under-23 debut.
The MEN also reports that Jurado is the latest in a long line of Premier League stars to sign long-term contracts with the club, joining the likes of Shola Shoretire, Hannibal Mejbri, and Anthony Elanga.
Despite being on the receiving end of moments like this, which occurred against rivals Liverpool at the start of April, Jurado seems to have adapted well to the English game so far.
