The Norwegian, who has enjoyed the reputation of playing with Roy Keane for nine years, has confirmed he would like to have an Irishman in his current United squad.

"There are some sports that I have played with that I would like to have in my group, of course," Solskjaer said, according to a message from Metro.

"I would love player Roy Keane. I’m not sure I can handle it, though!

DONT MISS:

“I will sign it every day of the week. Roy is important! ”

The other player chosen by Solskjaer is now Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The pair spent four consecutive years at Old Trafford before the 48-year-old hung up his boots in 2007.

Ronaldo became a home signing in Manchester before completing an additional 80 80 million move to Real Madrid in 2008, and the rest is history.

However, United fans have never forgotten their hero and have always had dreams of having him back from the Dream Theater.

Solskjaer admits he is one of the fans.

"I have played with Cristiano and he has been the best in the world with [Lionel] Messi for ten to 15 years, so Cristiano," he added.

"You have to bring it in your team, for sure."

The Norwegian president also drew a comparison between himself and Mason Greenwood.

Eight-nine appearances for United at the age of 19 are pretty much inclusive of the youngsters.

There is no doubt that Greenwood is a species, and according to Solskjaer, the English have an impact like its own.

Solskjaer said: "There are many things - it depends if it is the mind, the attitude, the social attitude," Solskjaer said.

“I would like to think Mason is the one who reminds me of myself the most as an accomplished, accomplished goal.

"We have to have a challenge - me and him - to see who can achieve the best."
