DONT MISS:

Opinion: Man United Win Against Man City Is Useless If It Can't Guarantee These 2 Things

While there is a need for Manchester United fans to celebrate a big win against their bitter rival, it is important that Manchester United win yesterday is pretty useless and doesn't change the status quo of the situation.

Manchester United win against might have given them three points but it doesn't guarantee these two things.

 1. Premier League title:

Manchester United is currently 11 points behind Manchester City with less than 10 matches to be played.

10 matches approximate to 30 points and it is highly impossible for Manchester United and even Manchester City to grab all the 30 points which still leaves the league in Manchester City's favor and out of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men's reach.

 2. Top four finish:

Even though Manchester United is in a comfortable position in the Premier League table but the win against Manchester City doesn't guarantee that they will finish in the Top four with Leicester City, Chelsea, Everton, and Tottenham all gearing up and ready to dethrone Manchester United.

For the records, nothing is guaranteed for Manchester United as it stands now, not the Premier League title and not even a top-four finish.
