Manchester United suffers another home defeat in the hands of Gunnars on Sunday evening.
According to the report, Man United chief Matt Judge was recently called by Hakan Calhanoglu's agent.
The reason for the call between the pair has now emerged after Manchester United defeat to Arsenal on Sunday night.

One player who is currently topping the transfer list is AC Milian's Calhanoglu, with the Turkey player poised to become a free agent at the end of the season.
However, after the Arsenal game, the Athletic has confirmed the Red Devils are not interested in the 26-years-old Turkey.
It was said that the playmaker's agent called Manchester United Judge to promote a move for his client to Old Trafford, but Judge and the rest of Red Devils hierarchy aren't ready for the matter now.
Their reason has been that they well equipped in the midfield and in the NO.10 position with the likes of Fernandes, Van de Beek, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata all available for that position.
As Well as Calhanglu, Manchester United have also been connected to several other players ahead of the January transfer window.
The Red Devils also have an interest in the England international Jadon Sancho, despite Borussia Dortmund's persistence in letting the player leave the club.
Erling Haaland is also on United's radar, with the Borussia Dortmund star performing very well since joining from the RB Leipzig.
