PSG could make late Pogba offer if Mbappe leaves

PSG could make late Pogba offer if Mbappe leaves

According to ESPN, Paris Saint-Germain could make a late move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba if Kylian Mbappe departs the club this summer.

Pogba returned to Manchester United in 2016 for a then-world record price.

Since then, he has frequently been one of the primary talking points at Old Trafford, splitting fans.

There's no disputing how good he is when he's on his game. His consistency and dedication to the cause, on the other hand, have been called into question.

He's off to a fast start this season. He started the season with four assists against Leeds United, the joint-most in a single Premier League game, and added another in the draw against Southampton.

The 28-year-old has one year left on his present deal with the Red Devils, and it is unknown whether he will stay in Manchester.

As a result, the club may be inclined to accept a bid this summer in order to prevent losing him for nothing.

According to ESPN, if striker Kylian Mbappe leaves before the end of the transfer season, French heavyweights PSG are mulling a deal for the midfielder.

Mbappe's future at Parc Des Princes has recently been called into question, with widespread claims of a €160 million proposal from Real Madrid.

The World Cup winner's contract expires next year, and it appears that he will not be renewed.

While replacing the 22-year-old with another forward may make sense for Les Parisiens, a move for Pogba may be wiser.

They already have enough firepower in their side, with Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Mauro Icardi capable of scoring.

However, they are not as strong in the midfield. They have a number of dependable midfielders, including. Georginio Wijnaldum, Leandro Paredes, Idrissa Gueye, Danilo Pereira, Ander Herrera, and Pablo Sarabia are among those involved.

However, Marco Verratti is the only one regarded as being on a world-class level. A new central midfielder could help them advance to the next level.
