Paul Pogba is well-known for his outstanding exploits for France, and those performances have clashed with his efforts at club level since joining Manchester United in 2016.
He has been a topic of discussion in the Premier League for some time, but his team surroundings for his national team have always been different from those at Old Trafford due to the make-up of the Red Devils roster, as well as several tactical considerations.
When paired with N'Golo Kante and, in particular, Kylian Mbappe, Pogba is able to show off his offensive abilities while being protected on the defensive side of the ball.

Greenwood pounced onto the through pass and found the back of the net, with the goal possibly revealing what the academy graduate has to offer as a striker in comparison to Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan is seasoned, aggressive, and his mobility in dangerous places is among the greatest in the game, but at 34, he is no longer as quick as players like Greenwood.
With Marcus Rashford out due to injury, Greenwood might give the speed that Solskjaer has missed, and he could continue to supply Pogba with the Mbappe-like dynamic that he relies on to prosper for France.
Greenwood's expectations must be adjusted as he matures, but as United's focal point, he is able to present Pogba with the abilities that bring out the best in him in possession.
