Jadon Sancho, Manchester United's new acquisition, has already been dubbed an 'absolute legend' after spending '25/30 minutes' signing autographs and taking selfies with fans after the game.
After the final whistle blew in the match between Manchester United and Leeds United on Saturday, Jadon Sancho was immediately acclaimed as a 'legend.'
Sancho made his Premier League debut as a second-half replacement, appearing for 15 minutes.
The Red Devils couldn't put a foot wrong as they ran riot, scoring five goals past Marcelo Bielsa's players.
Sancho, on the other hand, was acclaimed as a 'legend' for his deeds after the final whistle.
On their return to Old Trafford, Sancho lingered behind for about 30 minutes to sign United shirts and take photos with fans.
DON'T MISS:
"Jadon Sancho spent 25-30 minutes after the game taking pictures and signing people's shirts, the only player to do so, what an absolute legend," one fan tweeted following the game.
"Yeah [Luke] Shaw and Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] took a few photos, but they didn't stay for very long," he continued.
"It's good to see that players value the most important people in football, the fans," one fan said on Twitter.
"He was doing the same thing at Dortmund. Was it the player who spent the most time with the fans? "another was added
Sancho eventually put a stop to the two-year transfer saga when he joined United from Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer.
On Tuesday, he also played in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Burnley.
Solskjaer's team defeated Burnley 3-1 as they continue to improve their fitness levels ahead of the start of the new season.
And, as a result of his involvement in the game, Sancho is expected to start when United travels to the South Coast to face Southampton this weekend.
United leads the standings after the first weekend, and they have a favorable schedule ahead of them.
Southampton will be followed by games against the Wolves and Newcastle.
