Manchester United target hints at transfer decision

Ruben Neves, a midfielder for Wolverhampton Wanderers, has been linked with a move away from Molineux this summer, with many clubs reportedly keen.

Manchester United, a Premier League powerhouse, is said to be interested in the 24-year-old.

Arsenal are also rumoured to be interested in Mikel Arteta.

However, recent comments from the Portuguese footballer hint that he wants to continue at the West Midlands club.

He has been a reliable player for the English side since joining the Wanderers in 2017.

The gifted midfielder was instrumental in his team's promotion to the Premier League in 2018 and has continued to shine for them in the Premier League.

After Nuno Espirito Santo's departure in May, the 24-year-old has been linked with a move to a bigger club.

However, Neves stated that he is "very glad to work" with new coach Bruno Lage, implying that he intends to stay.

He told Wolves TV, "He's a really talented coach" (as per Mirror). “I am ecstatic to be working with him.

“When he joined Wolves, I chatted with a couple people who were Benfica players and are dear friends of mine, and they all spoke highly of him.

“It's now clear to me. He's a great coach with a lot of great ideas. When everything comes together, I believe we'll be a very difficult team to beat.”

RR Point of View

Jadon Sancho has joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund, and Raphael Varane has joined Real Madrid.

They'll have to get rid of some deadwood in order to buy new players.

Neves, who has proven his worth in the English Premier League, would be a wise acquisition for United.

However, his recent comments do not inspire confidence in the Red Devils' ability to strike a deal.
