Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made his feelings on Cristiano Ronaldo known.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United team has already been reinforced this summer with the big-money acquisitions of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane. Sancho made his debut off the bench against Leeds United on the first day of the season, while Varane might make his United debut against Wolves on Sunday.
But Solskjaer may not be satisfied, and he may now be interested in signing former Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
This week, speculation about Ronaldo's future heightened when the forward reportedly requested to be benched ahead of Juventus' 2-2 draw with Udinese on the first day of the Serie A season.
Ronaldo, who injured his arm during training on Wednesday, appears to want to leave the Italian giants, and Europe's best teams are hovering.

The 36-year-old has been linked to a number of clubs this summer, with a return to Manchester United a possibility.
Between 2003 and 2009, Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 games for the Red Devils.
During his time at Manchester United, he helped the club win three Premier League titles and the Champions League.
In addition, while playing in the Premier League, he earned the first of his five Ballon d'Ors.
Solskjaer was Ronaldo's teammate at United for four years before announcing his retirement in 2007.
And the Norwegian has already sent a transfer message to the Manchester United hierarchy by publicly expressing his admiration for the football talent earlier this year.
In March, Solskjaer remarked of Ronaldo, "You'd take him in your team without a doubt."
“I played with Cristiano, and he's been the finest player in the world for the past 10 to 15 years now, with [Lionel] Messi.”
Ronaldo joined United from Sporting Lisbon in 2003 and quickly established himself as a key figure under Sir Alex Ferguson.
During the 2007/08 season, he scored eight goals in 11 Champions League games as Manchester United overcame Chelsea in the final to win the cup.
In the same season, he also finished top scorer in the Premier League, scoring 31 goals in 34 games and catapulting himself into a global superstar.
Ronaldo went on to star for Real Madrid for nine years, winning four more Champions League crowns and two La Liga titles.
Juventus paid about £100 million to Los Blancos for the striker in 2018, and Ronaldo has since won two Serie A titles and one Italian Cup during his stay in Turin.
