Manchester United won’t offer this midfield star in exchange for Raphael Varane

Manchester United will not trade Donny van de Beek for Raphael Varane.

Manchester United will not give Donny van de Beek in exchange for Raphael Varane, according to trade reports from Express. While United is interested in signing Varane, they have no intention of selling him to Real Madrid.

DON'T MISS:

Last summer, the 24-year-old was United's most expensive signing, arriving at Old Trafford after a successful term at Ajax Amsterdam. He got off to a great start when he scored on his debut, but he has struggled since then.

Van de Beek finished the season as an unused replacement in United's Europa League final loss to Villarreal on penalties. He appeared in 36 games this season, 21 of which were as a substitute.

As a result, there has been conjecture over his future in recent weeks.

DON'T MISS:

Raphael Varane's pursuit by Manchester United has been well-publicized. The Real Madrid defender's contract expires next season, and he has shown an interest in leaving. However, according to noted journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Dutchman will not be a part of this Varane transaction. United has simply approached Real about a prospective transfer, and no offer has yet been made.

The Dutchman arrived to Old Trafford as one of the Eredivisie's most promising young players. Van van Beek has his finest years ahead of him, and it would have been a disaster to allow him depart on a trade deal. It's unclear what his future holds, but Solskjaer should be able to handle it better than he did last season.
