Eduardo Camavinga: Manchester United really ‘love him’

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, who is a trustworthy source for transfer news, Manchester United "adore" Eduardo Camavinga.

Romano kept his fans updated via YouTube, and it appears that United is still interested in the 18-year-club old's Rennes.

The young French midfielder has been connected with the Red Devils throughout the summer, and it is thought that a defensively solid midfielder is the third of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's intended "three world-class acquisitions."

Camavinga is a perfect example of this. In Ligue 1, he averages more than four tackles each game, one of the highest tackle rates among midfielders in Europe.

United had previously been looking for a top young midfielder and had come close to signing Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City, only to lose out to Borussia Dortmund in a transfer war.

DON'T MISS:

Camavinga, on the other hand, would undoubtedly be seen as a similarly gifted player by United.

However, sources claim that if Camavinga leaves Rennes, he would love to play in La Liga.

He is currently in the final year of his contract, and Rennes would prefer to trade him this summer for roughly £30 million rather than lose him for free next year.

United, on the other hand, have not increased their interest yet, preferring to focus on player loans and the future of Paul Pogba before making a final decision on a midfielder.

Solskjaer and the United transfer squad have also indicated interest in Ruben Neves of Wolves and Leon Goretzka of Bayern Munich as possible targets.

DON'T MISS:

They'll have other options if their first choice falls through, thanks to the initial contacts and groundwork they've set. This week, Solskjaer must make some major internal decisions. Following that, a move for a midfielder is probable.
