According to Fichajes, Manchester United is interested in signing Villarreal goalkeeper Gerard Moreno this summer.
Moreno, who scored against Manchester United in both normal time and the penalty shootout in the Europa League final, has had an incredible season.
The Spaniard scored 30 goals in 46 appearances across all competitions, making him one of Europe's most prolific strikers throughout the season.
According to Fichajes, his performances for Villarreal have not gone unnoticed.
According to the report, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester United are all interested in signing the 29-year-old during the summer transfer window.
The report makes no mention of how much Villarreal would ask for in exchange for their frontman, but after a 30-goal season, he's not going to be cheap.
Barcelona recently signed Sergio Aguero, but Moreno would be a welcome addition to Ronald Koeman's frontline if he were to join them.
For Manchester United, Edinson Cavani had a strong season, but at 34, he simply cannot play every game. This summer, a new striker may be required.
