In the midst of Real Madrid speculation, Anthony Martial has been chastised for his demeanor.

Anthony Martial's attitude has been characterized as 'awful,' amid reports of a summer departure from Manchester United. Due to displeasure with his attitude and form, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly ready to transfer the Frenchman.

DON'T MISS:

Martial had a terrible season in 2020/21, scoring only seven goals in 36 games across all competitions.

The 25-year- old's role as United's first-choice striker was taken by Edinson Cavani, whose contract extension cast even more doubt on his future.

According to reports, Solskjaer prefers to sign a long-term successor for Cavani, indicating that Martial's time at Old Trafford is coming to an end.

Duncan Castles recently stated on the Transfer Window Podcast that Solskjaer has had enough of Martial's attitude and bad form.

"If they bring this new forward in, Anthony Martial will be sacrificed," he stated.

DON'T MISS:

"Solskjaer is fed up with his attitude and has been underwhelmed by his goal production and overall contribution to the squad this season."

Castles asserts Real Madrid has offered Martial a season-long loan with a loan fee and a buyout option this summer.

Ex-Newcastle ace Rob Lee says Martial's mentality is "awful" and that he sometimes seems like a "Sunday League" footballer when asked about his possible transfer.

In March, Lee told Football FanCast, "He's such a gifted youngster, he's quick, and he can finish brilliantly, but some days, he just doesn't seem interested."

"His demeanor appears to be dreadful. So, if someone offered me £50 million for him, I'd take their hand in mine.

"When I watch him play, I think he's unbeatable, but when I watch him play other games, I think he belongs in the Sunday League."

"I honestly believe that, and I believe that if you can't pull yourself up to play for a club like Manchester United, then where will you go and what will you do?"

Real Madrid is now the only team linked with a bid for Martial during the current transfer window.

After missing the majority of the 2020/21 season due to injury, United's number nine will be trying to make a comeback in 2021/22.

However, it remains unclear whether he will seek a return to form at Old Trafford or elsewhere.

The expected arrival of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho next season may reduce Martial's playing time.

With Cavani, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, and Mason Greenwood all appearing to be ahead of Sancho in the attacking pecking order, Sancho's chances of getting minutes are dwindling.

Due to Martial's injury, he may miss Euro 2020, which might lead to a United exit in the coming weeks.
