Jadon Sancho has stated that speculation of a summer transfer to Manchester United is not distracting him.
Over the last 12 months, the 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer attempts to bolster his attacking options.
Last summer, Sancho was extensively linked with a move to the Premier League club, but the deal fell through.
Manchester United has been linked with tempting the England international to Old Trafford once again this year.
Sancho, on the other hand, has stated that he is unconcerned with transfer rumors and is instead focused on performing at his best for England at Euro 2020.
Sancho remarked in an interview with the Evening Standard, "I don't really look at it."
“I always focus on myself and the squad during the season because it is the most essential thing we can accomplish.
“You know, I always give it my all on the pitch and obviously to produce with what I do on the pitch, which is goals and assists.
“That is why I make every effort to perform my best for the team.”
When asked if the transfer rumors are an unwanted distraction, the attacker said, "No, I'm fine with it."
“It's inevitable that there would be speculation, especially when you do well.
“It's just how you deal with it on the field and keep doing what you're doing,” he says.
“If you keep doing that, I'm confident it won't be a problem because the most important thing is my football, and that's what I'm concentrating on right now.”
Sancho led Borussia Dortmund in scoring with 16 goals and 14 assists in all competitions last season.
Manchester United are rumored to be on the hunt for a number of fresh signings this summer in order to bolster their roster for next season.
