France's Paul Pogba produced stunning highlights in warmup game v Bulgaria

On Tuesday evening, France defeated Bulgaria 3-0 in their final Euro 2020 warmup game.

Didier Deschamps's team cruised to win thanks to an acrobatic first-half strike from Antoine Griezmann and a late brace from replacement Olivier Giroud.

However, it appeared as if Les Bleus would suffer a major setback from the match, with the returning Karim Benzema being forced out with an injury in the first half.

Fortunately, the injury does not appear to be significant, as Deschamps stated after the game: "He was struck in the calf muscle above the knee. We didn't take any chances since he thought it was hardening."

Overall, it was a successful night for the country that is widely predicted to win Euro 2020.

Paul Pogba, the Manchester United midfielder, was definitely the team's star performer against Bulgaria, dominating the middle of the park throughout the encounter.

DON'T MISS:

He threw accurate long-range passes for enjoyment, produced snippets of heavenly skill, sped past opponents like they weren't even there, and most importantly, created opportunities for his teammates.

The mercurial Frenchman put on a midfield masterpiece, and you can watch his individual highlights from France's 3-0 triumph over Bulgaria below.

Pogba is an incredible joy to watch when he is at the top of his game.

The 28-year-old makes everything look so simple, and his outstanding performance against Bulgaria served as a timely reminder of why France is the squad to beat at Euro 2020.

Pogba in top form, surrounded by N'Golo Kante and feeding Griezmann, Benzema, and Kylian Mbappe? For the other nations competing in the competition, that is a daunting proposition.

It's no surprise that Arsene Wenger, the former Arsenal manager and FIFA's head of global football development, has dubbed his country the "super favorite" to win Euro 2020.

Prior to the game against Bulgaria, he told Sky Sports, "They are not the favorites, they are the super favorites."
