Finally, United close in on €90m deal for Dortmund winger

 

Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are close to agreeing on a deal for England striker Jadon Sancho, which may be worth at least €90 million.

In recent days, United has been in advanced talks with their German counterparts, and an agreement is getting closer to being struck.

Dortmund wanted €100 million for Sancho at first, which United was unwilling to pay, and has since settled for €95 million.

Following Dortmund's rejection of an earlier €78 million offer, United returned to the table this week with an upgraded €85 million offer.

United is said to have increased its offer to €90 million, albeit there is still no clarification on the specific split of the suggested fee as talks continue.
