Rene Meulensteen thinks Manchester United can let Paul Pogba exit and use the profits of the deal to restore their team.
And Sir Alex Ferguson's former No. 2 claims Jack Grealish is the kind of player who will support Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad because he has the "DNA to play for Manchester United."
Grealish to United is not a fresh transfer rumour for any club's fans, nor is it the first, second, or most likely third transfer window in which Aston Villa's captain has been associated with the Red Devils.
United are believed to be looking for another offensive choice this summer, and after an outstanding season in which he made his England debut, the speculation is unavoidable.
This may be Grealish: "I suppose with Pogba's stature comes hopes." For any occasion, I don't believe he has measured up to those expectations. So, if I could, I'd sell him and reshape the squad.
Declan Rice is a very young and talented player in my opinion, but playing for Manchester United week in and week out is a completely different experience. You must be consistently producing high-quality results.
“I'm not positive he'd be my first choice; there are other names floating about. An individual like Grealish will have the DNA and stature to play for Manchester United, as well as the drive, so that will affect the team's perspective. He is a ball hogger who enjoys dribbling and creating for himself.”
